Harald Ricken
(Ladder Table tennis department)
,, I have been playing table tennis since 1963, first at TUS Neviges 1945 eV (until 1970), then from 1970-1972 at Langenberger SG and then from 1972 until today again at TUS Neviges 1945 eV (until 2011), then from 2011/12 for the successor club SV Union Velbert 2011. eV I am currently the head of the table tennis department (since 1972) and since 2015 a member of the board of directors and a player in the 5th men's team. For many years I have held honorary positions in various functions at the district and district level. "

Markus Tekaat
(Youth trainer and youth warden)
"When I was 10 my father took me to table tennis for the first time. After a few instructive years in the Gruiten youth, I was promoted to the first men's team at the age of 15 and played there successfully for a few years in the upper pair cross in the district class and district league The 2011/2012 season took me to TuS Neviges (today SV Union Velbert) for whom I was able to gain experience in the association, NRW and Oberliga with assignments in the regional and 2nd Bundesliga. It began 7 years ago Project youth trainer and youth manager. The greatest sporting successes of youth work are promotion to the Junge NRW League in the 2019/2020 season and the successful performance in the following season, as well as individual successes of the young people in district, district and West German championships and rankings. I am particularly proud of the large number of young people - by table tennis standards - who successfully entered the men's club after their youth have been integrated. "

Rainer Jungblut
(Youth coach)
"Hello!
My name is Rainer, I am 55 years old and have been infected with the table tennis virus since I was 9 years old. Since then I have experienced a lot of beautiful things as a player, coach and official in my sport. As an A-license coach, I got to know the world's elite in the first Bundesliga and in my 10 years as the national coach of the deaf national team, I supported people with handicaps in top-class sport. As a player, I have celebrated singles, doubles and team successes up to the European level. And organized the work on site for many years as a functionary and school sports officer.
Now I'm looking forward to the SV Union coaching and junior team! "

Lukas Bosbach
(Youth coach)
"My name is Lukas Bosbach, I am 18 years old and will play in the third Bundesliga in Velbert next season. I've been an active player for 10 years and a coach for about two years. I completed my C license last year and would like to pass on my new knowledge. As a player, I also think that I'm in good hands with Velbert to take the next big step there.
I am currently doing a federal voluntary service at my home club TTV Waltrop 99. There I have / had a lot to do with table tennis, such as working groups, table tennis in the KiGa and also normal club training.
But now I'm looking forward to a great collaboration with my fellow coaches and players.
Here we go!"
